• Red Wing Lodge has been chosen, for the sixth time, to host the 2004 Gil Hamm Muskies Inc. Chapter Challunge.
• Red Wing Lodge was headquarters for the tournaments
  in 1983, '86, '93, '97, 2003 and 2004.
• Red Wing Lodge was chosen by Muskie Inc. to host their 2008 Fall International Board Meeting. This is the first time a Muskie Inc. Board meeting has been held outside of the United States.

Hunting at Red Wing Lodge

The hunting is fantastic! When the bluebills and mallards come down, they stop and feed on the wild rice all over Lake of the Woods. Plan a fall hunting and fishing trip… this is when most big fish are caught, between morning and evening shoots! We also offer grouse, deer and bear hunting. Our bear management area is restricted to Red Wing Lodge guests, so most hunters are successful. 

NOTE: In order to acquire a Canadian hunting license, you must have in your possession a current or previous hunting license, although a hunter safety certificate is also accepted. Hunters must be registered at Canadian Customs and list their guns.
