We recommend crossing the border at Baudette, MN / Rainy River, ONT rather than International Falls, MN / Fort Frances, ONT.

Directions via Baudette, MN:

From Hwy 53 northbound, turn left on Hwy 332 just south of International Falls.
Drive 3 miles, then turn left on Hwy 11 West.
Continue 65 miles to Baudette, then cross the bridge into Canada.
After clearing Canada Customs, drive 7 miles east on ONT Hwy 11 to Sleeman.
Turn left on ONT Hwy 621, drive 30 miles north, then turn right on Red Wing Road (watch for the warning sign).
Drive 1.25 miles east to arrive at Red Wing Lodge.

Directions via International Falls, MN / Fort Frances, ONT:

After clearing Canada Customs, drive 49 miles west on ONT Hwy 11 to Sleeman.
Turn right on ONT Hwy 621, drive 30 miles north, then turn right on Red Wing Road (watch for the warning sign).
