To cross the border in Baudette, MN follow these directions to avoid the traffic in International Falls and cross the border in Baudette, MN/ Rainy River, ONT. When driving North on Hwy 53, Turn left on Hwy 332 just south of International Falls, MN. Drive 3 miles and turn left on MN Hwy 11. Drive West 65 miles to Baudette. After crossing the bridge to Canada: From Canada Customs drive (est. 7 miles) east on ONT. Hwy 11 to Sleeman, ONT. Turn left on ONT. Hwy 621. Drive est. 30 miles north and turn right on Red Wing Road. There is a warning sign just before the right turn onto Red Wing Road. Drive 1.25 miles East and you will arrive at Red Wing Lodge.
To cross the border at International Falls, MN- Fort Frances, ONT. After clearing Canada Customs, drive west on ONT. Hwy 11 (est. 49 miles) to Sleeman, ONT. Turn right on ONT. Hwy 621. Drive est. 30 miles north of Sleeman, and turn right on Red Wing Road. There is a warning sign just before the right turn onto Red Wing Road. Drive 1.25 miles East and you will arrive at Red Wing Lodge.
If flying commercially, Delta has links from MPLS/St Paul to International Falls, MN. You can rent a car or there is shuttle service available to arrive at Red Wing Lodge from the airport.
